Atiba University’s admission process is designed to assess applicants’ academic background, extracurricular pursuits, and potential to contribute to the university community. Here’s a detailed overview:

- UTME Candidates: Candidates with a JAMB score of 140 and above, who selected Atiba University as their first or second choice, or those seeking a change of institution.
- Direct Entry Candidates: Candidates with:
- Two A-Level passes
- A degree certificate from a recognized institution
- NCE or equivalent qualifications
- Diploma Candidates: Candidates seeking admission into our Diploma program can apply, with or without O’Level results.
- JUPEB Programme: Candidates with credits in five relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Candidates who have chosen Atiba University, Oyo as First or Second Choice with a JAMB score of 140 and above.
- Candidates who scored at least 140 in the JAMB UTME who did not choose Atiba University,Oyo in the UTME and are seeking change of institution.
- Candidates who scored below 140 in the JAMB UTME or who are yet to write the UTME and are seeking admission into One-Year Basic Studies Programme (JUPEB)/li>
General Admission Requirements (100 Level)
- Candidates must possess JAMB requirements for all programmes in addition to five credit passes in WAEC/NECO SSCE, GCE and NABTEB to include English Language, and other relevant subjects as advertised in the JAMB brochure for each programme.
- Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided the result will be available at resumption in admission year.
General Admission Requirements (Direct Entry)
- Two passes at the Advanced level with G C E Level or approved equivalent credit passes in three other subjects at not more than two sitting.
- Three passes at the Advanced level (GCE A Level, HSC, JUPEB Diploma) with G C E O’Level or approved equivalent credit passes.
- Passes in two recorgnised NCE subjects with GCE O’Level credit equivalent in three other subjects. Education is accepted as a third A’Level subject for those taking courses in education
- Candidates who successfully pass the final examination of the following institutions shall also be considered eligible for admission:
- International Baccalaureate obtained from accredited Institutions with relevant grading
- International Baccalaureate obtained from accredited Institutions with relevant grading
- National Diploma from Polytechnics or Colleges of Technology
- The Defense Academy certificates
DIPLOMA Programme
- The programme is a four-semester program designed to prepare students for direct admission into 200-level degree programmes offered by Atiba University, Oyo. Holders of Diploma certificates would subsequently be admitted through JAMB Direct Entry into 200-level degree programmes.
- Applicants must possess credits in at least five relevant O’Level subjects (which must include English Language, Mathematics, and any other three O’Level subjects) in WASC/SSCE, NECO, equivalents, in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates with awaiting results may also apply.
JUPEB Programme
- The programme is designed to prepare students for the examination conducted by the consortium of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB). Holders of the JUPEB certificate would subsequently be admitted through JAMB Direct Entry into 200 level degree programmes offered by Atiba University, Oyo.
- Applicants must possess credits in at least five relevant O’Level subjects (which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three O’Level subjects) in WASC/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB equivalents, in not more than two sittings. Candidates with awaiting results may also apply.
- This is the first link. The mode of entry is “UTME candidate” or “DIRECT ENTRY Candidate”. Other information is the student’s personal information
- You are to pay an application fee using your ATM card details. After payment, you use this link to log into the applicant portal.Your username is your JAMB registration number, and your password is your surname as entered in STEP 1.
- You proceed to ‘FILL FORM’ on your portal after logging in. And complete your application form.
- You check “check admission” within 48 hours of application for your admission letter and follow the prompt to pay the acceptance fee (within 2 weeks).
- Follow the prompt in “check admission” after paying your acceptance fee and upload a copy of your result. Fill all necessary information.
- Go to “clearance” from time to time to be sure if you have been cleared.
- Once cleared follow the prompt to login on the student portal. Your username is still your jamb registration number and your password is your surname as entered in STEP 1. or use this link
- Proceed to fill necessary information.
- Click on the payment icons to pay school fees and accommodation fees.
- Click on each icon to understand your student portal
- Remember to download, screenshot and save all necessary forms and documents from your applicant portal as the portal is only valid for about 3 months. And reprint of documents will attract additional fees.
